One of the larger wards, the Moulsecoomb and Bevendean ward is home to Brighton University’s Moulsecoomb campus. Moulsecoomb and Bevendean ward is a really interesting part of the city, being made up as it is of several diverse communities which are separated from each other by the road systems. There is only one road in and out of Bevendean, you cannot access Bevendean and Moulsecoomb from Coombe road or Meadowview except by coming all the way down the Lewes road and along again by road, though they are close to each other by foot.
