The Ward stretches from Nettleton Court and Dudeney Lodge in Upper Hollingdean Road to the far end of the University of Sussex campus. It includes Hollingdean, Coldean, Fiveways, Bates Estate, Saunders Park Estate and Stanmer Village. Stanmer, Hollingbury and the Wild Parks, Hollingbury Golf Course, the Council Depot and parts of the University of Brighton are all in the Ward.

Main concerns people raise are housing, the threat of cuts to public services, especially to education, childrens’ centres, support for young people and to health and care services, and protecting our local open spaces.

Great things about the Ward are the wide range of different localities, all with their own lively community groups – and being close to parks and open spaces.
