Hanover and Elm Grove Ward extends from Queens Park Road over to the Bear Road area of Elm Grove. Hanover is principally a very steep hill, lined with streets of tightly packed Victorian houses. Many streets run off Elm Grove which runs from Lewes Road up to the race course. William Clarke Park, the General Hospital (formerly a Victorian workhouse), The Hanover Community Centre and numerous pubs and are several key features.
