Our members are the lifeblood of the Labour Party – they campaign, they argue, they get involved on behalf of the Labour cause. And more often than not they have great fun doing it.

  • Thursday 1st December: PRESTON PARK INVITE YOU TO A SOCIAL EVENT AND FUNDRAISER
    ENTRY £5 on door, The Railway Club, Belmont, 5 mins from Seven Dials, 7.30pm for 8pm
    Guest speaker: Lord Bassam, previous Leader of Brighton and Hove City Council, currently Labour Chief Whip in the House of Lords
    Quiz: pit yourself against the Preston Park quizmasters
    Snacks and nibbles provided: buy your own drinks at the club bar
    Raffle prizes to be won: please bring money!

    Free entry, The Palmeria Pub, 70-71 Cromwell Rd, Hove, BN3 3ES,  7.30pm onwards

  • Thursday 8th December: ROTTINGDEAN CHRISTMAS PARTY
    Held in the Vicarage, Rottingdean. Please bring a bottle and there will be a raffle to raise funds.

  • Thursday 19th January: CITY PARTY FUNDRAISING DINNER
    Guest Speaker at the first of these, on 19 January, will be Shadow Cabinet Member Lord [Steve] Bassam, Opposition Chief Whip in the House of Lords.
    The event is held in The Gallery, the excellent Restaurant in the City College, where the splendid food is prepared and served by catering students.
    Dinner is 6.30 for 7 pm and, because the students have to be away to drink their cocoa, ends at about 9.30 pm.
